Thorntree Forest is located in Araluen, north of Hackham Heath and south of Castle Araluen. As the name suggests, it is full of thorns.
The Battle of Thorntree Forest[]
During The Burning Bridge, Halt lead Araluan forces to repel an army of Skandians advancing through the forest. Among the dead was Gronel, the Skandian Oberjarl Ragnak's son, so after their defeat, Ragnak swore a Vallasvow against King Duncan and Cassandra.
