Kaijin, from Temujai Forces
The Kajin are specially trained Temujai marksmen. There is one attached to each Ulan. They are assigned to take out the leaders of any enemy group the Temujai might be facing, making for an easier battle for the Temujai.
Near the end of Oakleaf Bearers Haz'kam orders the Kajin from fifty Ulans to become one unit, sending them to kill Will and the archers. However, as the Skandian archer force begins picking them off, the Kaijin, in the face of a deadly force of returning arrows, desert, abandoning the battle and flee, to Nit'zak's rage. The Kaijin are noted by Nit'zak to be pampered and privileged, excused from the dangers of single combat so they could sit back and pick off enemy commanders in relative safety, resulting in Kaijin regarding themselves as the elite Temajui force.
