An Ulan is a Temujai fighting formation consisting of sixty men and one Kaijin, a specially trained tracker and archer who can point out enemy leaders out take them out. In many ways, it is equal to a platoon.
Likely to be the most common fighting formation, this was used in the Battle for Skandia in the hope of being able to take down the Skandian warriors with speed and agility.
Using light recurve bows, this formation would be ideal for quick skirmishes and ambushes, but would be fairly vulnerable in open battle.
